Q. What is the "Virtual Attendee"?
A. APBJC will offer virtual conference access. All sessions will be streamed live from Okinawa and captured for on-demand viewing. You will also have access to the poster theater.
The virtual participants can put questions into the portal for the session moderator to ask the speaker. We typically have a tech moderator in the room to help with that.
Q. Can I use the Wi-Fi at the venue?
A. Yes, the venue provides the free Wi-Fi, but it will be shared all participants so we recommend you to bring your own. The information of rental mobile Wi-Fi router in Japan is here
Q. [Registration] On the registration system, is Post-doc classified as an academic professional or a student?
A. Post-doc will be classified as a student.
Q. [Registration] What is the "SCS-only" ?
A. If you check it, you will register just only "Asian Student Council Symposium" held on 22nd Oct.
Q. [Registration] I cannot change the status of "registrant type". How should I do?
A. Once a user continues to the next page of registration it locks the registrant type. To change it you'll have to close the current registration tab/window and start a new one.
Q. Please advise me the cancellation policy.

Requests for registration cancellation or registration type downgrades requiring refunds must be made in writing and emailed to 2024apbjc_local@googlegroups.com.
The registration fee can be canceled without penalty until midnight JST September 11, 2024. After that, cancellations can be made with a 50% penalty until midnight JST September 24, 2024 and a 90% penalty until midnight JST October 8, 2024. In all cases, there will be a 7,500 JPY administration fee.
