The third edition of the Asian Student Council Symposium (#ASCS2024) is organized as the Young Scientist Symposium, preceding the 1st Asia & Pacific Bioinformatics Joint Conference (#APBJC2024). The in-person component of ASCS2024 will be in Okinawa, Japan, on 22nd October 2024.

ASCS2024, organized by the ISCB Student Council and its Regional Student Groups (led by students from the Asia Pacific region), features keynote lectures, oral presentations, and a poster session. This event provides a platform for students and postdocs in bioinformatics and computational biology to showcase their research, connect with the global community, and enhance their skills in a collaborative environment.
